Type 0 Rubicus Edit
Is there anything out there to mod or hack the rubicus? I just sank hundreds of hours into 100% only to discover the 4 'missable' entries in the annals for the NPCs in ch 8... which of course... I'm missing.

I doubt it. Mostly the kind of things I have seen in this community are either mods or memory editing. That's more of a flag hack which may be save editing or possibly could be done with modding(though that would be permanent until you do a clean install so not sure you would want that) If I remember correctly the rubicus is one of the things you keep when you do NG+ and you can do NG+ as many times as you like. If you are only missing the entries for just those NPCS then just do NG+ and run a basic runthrough of the game fulfilling the requirements for those characters to join class 0. That said don't forget to fail 1 of each of their quests to get the extra scene of them being sorry things aren't going so well. Once they are recruited all their quests become unavailable in the NG+ so those scenes are truly missable.

By the way doing that may mean you gotta do it across multiple playthroughs so you can get those scenes AND recruit them into Class 0

Oh wait I just saw your name in another thread asing about just that. Answer is you might be able to add those entries via save editing but I don't know for sure. Your best bet would be to do another full runthrough from start to finish(not NG+) while using a game trainer or cheat engine to make things faster.

I was afraid of that... thanks for the response, vigilnova666. I probably won't mess with a save hack. There's spotty information about this game in general (I'm guessing due to the ease of Steam achievements). I just can't believe this wasn't flagged somewhere in a 100% guide/forum.

games which have missable entries such as this are never included in a walkthrough or guide. Personally I hate modern guides. Used to be they would give you speciffics on how to play the game well with sidequests spread throughout the book with a bestiary and inventory guide somewhere all together and a glossary at the back to easily find what you need. Now they keep things as vague as possible and seperate the side quests from the main quests and often leave stuff out and make things far too complicated that you might as well play the game without it. They do it supposedly so they aren't telling you how you should play the game and letting you play it your own way but honestly if I wan'ted that I wouldn't BUY the book I would just look up an online guide made by another player for FREE and it would probably be better ANYWAY(at least these days)
