Impressions. The concept is simple enough though the start of the story is...a little meh. I can only hope the story will be more fleshed out upon release or later in the game. The gameplay reminds me of RPG maker games which I love. The battle...I've never played octopath traveler so I can't say much there but it seems pretty good to me. I've certainly seen a lot worse.
Overall what you showed is only the very minimum of what you've got planned I think this could turn out to be a very good game. I'll certainly keep my eye out for it in the future.
Yes, there are 18 months of dev time left on this more or less, and the story is going to be a huge focus. What I've shown so far is only a small hint of it.
Later down the line I'll have more combat to show off too, outside of that tutorial battle, where you really get a proper feel for the pace and the depth.
Don't forget with Kickstarter, you only get your card charged IF the project succeeds, and even then only when the campaign finishes. So if you do change your mind about a one time pledge, you have until August 13th to decide.
But either way, thank you so much for the feedback! Genuinely appreciate it.
