This looks really great! I'm working on a similar mod for FFV. I'm hoping to finish that project up in a few months, so my time will be committed to that for a bit longer, but please feel free to reach out if you have questions or need any tips working with the PSP sprites. My biggest hurdle has been the difference in hand placements. The iOS sprites arms are just a bit longer than the PSP ones.
