Original SNES Sprites Mod. Is there one?
I read about all these concept art & one-char sprite mods fluttering around but I can't seem to find a fully SNES-faithful sprite mod (Which is the one I'd actually love for a first playthrough). So I'm guessing there actually isn't one. Is this correct?

Funny you should say that, there is an original sprite mod being made. It has quite a bit done, but it is going quite slowly since there was only 4 or 5 people from what I recall. Not to mention the sprite sheets are weird, so every sprite must be edited by hand and then upscaled to fit the port's sprite sheet. Hope this helps! :ffviedgar:

I see. That seems precisely what I was looking for! I was also wondering how a waifu2x filter would look because the contrast is very stark between the classic pixel art and the remade\modified new backgrounds. Waifu2x could possibly make it better and be the 'perfect' alternative. Thanks for the input!
