FFVI - Music Change?

What I'd like to see, at least in the near future, is a mod that allows me to place my .mp3 files from OCRemix's "Balance and Ruin" (and possibly the opera track from "Dear Friends") there for use over the game's current soundtrack.

I know it's probably far off, if ever, but... thoughts?

The problem you're going to run into with sticking the "Dear Friends" version of the opera into this game, besides the technical aspects of replacing the music in the first place, is that SE went ahead and retranslated the opera... again. Maria's part lines up with the DF version well, but the rest? Not even close.

Yeah, that is problematic... But no doubt the track could be cut to end properly, then have the rest of the opera sequence (dance to Ultros battle) use other tracks. Or, worst case, just don't use the mp3 for that specific sequence.
