I have converted the music data directly from the PS1 game's format to DirectMusic format. The files work with the default music engine so all you need to do is simply replace the original, inaccurate music files with the files I have created. No program or library needed. Also I fixed the music to loop infinitely rather than 32768 times; doubtful anyone would have waited long enough to notice this but that is fixed as well.

1. Download the latest files from the link above.
2. Navigate to your \Steam\steamapps\common\FINAL FANTASY VIII\Data\Music\dmusic\ folder.
3. Replace ALL (.sgt & .dls) files in this folder with the new files.
