1,2,10,10-2 and 12 seem inevitable now. This was the one I would have called the least likely to ever come to PC.

X and X-2 seems to be locked behind Playstation consoles, probably a deal with Sony. XII has an hint for a remaster but since the slip no more news about it. I would like the Zodiac Job System version of XII and if they could only make models for each classes like the promo picture.

X and X-2 were recently revealed in a steamDB leak to have a steam page, and there was a quickly pulled page on SE's website that also referenced a PC version... my guess is they are going to announce it for release soon.

I'll eat my hat (I don't own a hat...) if they don't make some statement about it in 2016.

12 will be a while I think maybe end of year or 2017 or something as it came out at the end of PS2 really so it was already pretty good graphically speaking so a HD remake might take a while for them to WANT to make it. A direct port(and possible translation of the international zodiac system version)might be more likely but if it happens it will push back a release on a HD remake and/or maybe eliminate any chance of it.

lol Funny about 12 tho it's graphics were so good that when it first came out my dad asked if I was watching a movie because he thought the characters looked so real. (he was only passing the room tho so he didn't see more than a few seconds of an FMV sequence)

Actually with emulator XII can get really nice textures and all. The only problem is the shader or filter used by PS2 that mostly mess up with the games. Hopefully it gets into the #ps2ps4 list before the remaster.

Krisan maybe you can open a topic, btw i really would like to see as first mod to this game the possibility to add Blank, Beatrix, Cinna and Marcus as playable characters in party without freezing!

I'm sure the reason we haven't heard anything about a XII remaster is because they are working hard to remaster it, the way they did with X and X-2. Also, I bet they don't have as many spare devs as they did when they were remastering X and X-2, what with XV, this IX remaster, and supposedly the remake of VII releasing this year. Not to mention Kingdom Hearts 3 and Dragon Quest XI. It might be a long while before we hear about XII. Maybe they'll announce it during E3 or TGS later this year.

Isn't FF7's remake already out on PS4? I thought it was.

The PC port is out for the PS4. Not the remake. The remake is a multi part release, with the first part coming "soon", according to SE.

This is my absolute favourite part of the series.
I realy hope they don't screw this one up. Unfortunately I'm no longer convinced that square can do proper ports...

IX is one of the best, I think it's the favorite of Sakaguchi, isn't it?
