Console Content Patch help
So I just got XIII-2 and downloaded it and the first thing I wanted to do was restore the console content as I've played on Xbox 360/PS3 before. Problem is I'm following the readme file exactly but I keep getting errors where I have to validate my files again. No stranger to modding but I must be missing something. Can anyone help?

It's been a few months since I did it, but I was able to patch successfully. Once you patch, just run the game. Steam shouldn't be checking the files every time you run it, certainly, and the patch should not be making the game unrunnable.

I'm having similiar issues but I just started playing. Do you have to do it before you start a new game?

I was running into a problem with the mod. It would take FOREVER to load. Even in task manager, it never appeared when I went to launch it. When it did appear, it went to the screen that shows "Square Enix" and then froze there. Also no stranger to modding
I followed the file down to the letter.
