Shouldn't Greger's FPS fix patch be here?
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=436082829 This is Greger's patch to change FFIV's in-battle FPS from 15 to 25. I think it deserves to be in Mod Releases, but I just looked and it isn't.

I wasn't sure if I should add it to be honest. SInce it essentially only speeds up the game, rather than fixes the FPS. If you look at the clouds, you can clearly see that everything is sped up. What do you think? Should I still add it?

I think it's worth it. It makes battle animations so much smoother, even if some animations go a little too fast. It only works in battle, so it's not like a full speed hack.

Ok, I went ahead and added Gregor to Steam, since a US patch is missing for FFIV. The current patch only fixes the EU release. The same goes for FFIV: The After Years. I wanted to see if I can get all 4 patches before adding them to the indexes. Thanks for the heads up!

That's strange. I have the US release of FFIV, and I know that EXE listed as being only for the European version is indeed the EXE I used. Unless there was some kind of update ONLY for the US version between December 25th and January 1st, it should be fine. Very strange indeed.

It is indeed a speedup for battles, I haven't found a way to keep the animation speed and still bump the fps up I'm afraid.
A little workaround is to lower the battle speed when using the patch so the battles aren't too fast, it doesn't help with the animations though :/

There might be a way to have the animations at their normal speed, but it will require some more investigating.

I added the mod to the FFIV mode index and FFIV: The After Years mod index.
