MOD - FinalFantasyFX ReShade Preset
Hi.

I've been tweaking with ReShade past few days.
What I did was write a simple code for Scanline + DotMatrix shader effect(trying to simulate some of the lack of quality from old TV's. Somehow for me it seems right for this kind of game, and the bonus is the smoothness it brings). And added some hq4x and fxaa in different passes and intensities. I liked the results.

So I'm leaving here the filter the way I've been playing with this silly name hoping you guys enjoy it too.

INSTALLATION:

1. Extract the file content to the folder where Final Fantasy V is installed.
2. Play it.

Keys:
F7 - Enable/Disable HQ4X
F8 - Enable/Disable FXAA
F9 - Enable/Disable FFScanlines

That looks good! Does it help to hide the tile seam issue?

Yes! That was my main goal. In fact, this is the same I did to smooth the sprites in FFVI to make the characters 'fit' the scenarios. Don't know if it is only me but with the retexturing, felt like was a Flash game or something...

That look great! But I can't try it, the game crash after the launcher.
I use Windows 7 64bit and Character Portraits Mod( https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=525843936)

JechDaoz, I'll try to simulate the problem here to seach for a solution. I'll let you know in case I come up with something.

JechDaoz, i've installed the character mod and it works fine here with the reShade.
Your video card support OpenGL 4.3? The reShade need it.

Yes i checked, OpenGL 4.4 is installed

I found a solution, I downloaded ReShade with their site, I used direct3D 10/11, i deleted OpenGL32.dll and that work now.
By the way, thank you for the time you spent for me:)
