I will contiune to work on this most of the chars are done besides Setizer or however you spell his name and some npcs... Im working on monsters and battlers now as well as the rest of the chars.. Im sorry I wish i got more done over the past five days but i was very sick in hospital.. But I will show a preview of the chars i did in a minute.. I hope everyone likes :)

ty for all the comments.. Now i am revamping the figrao guards making them look more like guards :P I have a question though in the ui folder there are smaller versions of the monsters it looks like snes versions of them.. Are these used in game at all does anyone know???

Most of the sprites in tthe char directory are done npc and such on the squid guy.. Once im done with those I will do all the enemies and hopefuly find the espers too... Final Fantasy VI - A World Reborn v1.0 Released!

What is A World Reborn?

This patch replaces all of the games sprites with higher quality
sprites based off of Amano's concept art, while making NPC's more
colorful and diverse. It also replaces all of the game's monsters
and espers to make them more in line with both the concept art for
Final Fantasy VI and with respect to the greater reach of Final
Fantasy lore. The mod also replaces battle UI with custom portraits
that are based on Amano's portraits from previous releases of Final
Fantasy VI; much of the mobile UI clutter has also been delete and the
UI for the Bestiary and the Event Album have been updated to reflect
the changes made in this mod. The entire OST has been reworked with
Orchestral tracks including a fully voiced Opera. The battelbacks have
been reworked to be more visually appealing as well as the font, which
has been replaced with a custom font based on the GBA release. Topping
this all off is a custom ReShade profile that adds a CRT filter and a
recoloring of the game that adds an operatic ambience to the game, which
can also be used to switch beween 4:3 and 16:9 aspect rations by pressing
the TAB button.

What will the next release include?
- World Map Replacement for both the World of Balance and the World of Ruin
- Spell FX Enhancement and replacement.
- Completely reworked UI

also looking for something kind of new. It includes all of the upgrades from A World Reborn Core
except for the GBA font (packaged with SNES font instead) and the updated monsters and espers. It
also contains different musical tracks and reworked sprites that try to emulate the color palette
of the SNES sprites. It also features a more overtly colorful ReShade profile.

So I downloaded FFVI explore and it's a great program.. I wanted to change the sprites a little bit to make them look more like the concept art work.. So I opened up the bmp with photoshop and noticed the colors where indexed with the transparent color of the sprite being the top left corner.. So I edited the Tera sprites and addded some colors to the pal, this crashed the game when i tried to load the game.. So then I just edited the pal on the original sprite and tried that.. This also crashed the game.. So I guess my question is what are the requirements for the spirte to load into the game without it crashing.. Sorry for the noob question I just wanted to edit the main chars of ff to look like the concept art lol. Does the game run on a global pal like the old snes one did? Im so lost on how to do this. Can someone please tell me what the requirments are for the sprite to run fine in game lol..
