O my God, it works.
At the end I did not learn what was the problem. I just used the batch script that came with the .rar. Before I was using one I created based on what you provided. I must have made a mistake somewhere. XD
Loop is messed up for me as well. I will try to fix it with hex editor. Maybe puting in the same loop info as the original file has will help... I don't know. Right now I am just soooo happy it finally worked.

nope... I still get silence. I guess it will never work. Maybe if I contact TGE somehow...

but I don't know what to do with it. when I put this into batch file it says oggenc2.exe not recognized or something... do I need something else to use alongside with this?

Frome these threads it seems that I just need to convert my music files to .ogg with serial number 0, before converting them to .scd. Or at least I think that's what I am missing.
However I have no idea how to do that. TGE posted some script he made there on the forum, but the link was unfortunately removed. :(
Any chance someone knows how to change the serial number of .ogg file?

1) I play Japanese version of the game.
2) The japanese version of the track is not in the game. Even the japanese files (white_imgc.win32.bin) contain the same music as the english white_imgu.
3) I simply want to replace this track with japanese version of the song (with japanese lyrics). It was like this in the japanese PS3 release of the game.

My goal is to add original japanese version of Chocobos of Cocoon to the theme park level, so I am affraid music shuffle won't help here. I have a feeling that the guys from the link 1 figured something out, but I don't understand it at all. :/

I wisited those sites before. 'Tis from these sites I figured out how to use the tools, but the game still does not play the new music. Don't you know someone who already did a mod like this? Someone who could give an advice on the process?

I am trying to add custom music to the game. Replace the background music in certain levels.
Any advice on how to convert the music into .scd so the game would recognize it.

I have my music in .ogg and I converted them to .ogg.scd using FFXIV Explorer then deleted the .ogg extention and packed it using ff13 tool, but the game does not play them. It stays silent.

I know some people were able to add custom music into the game and I know that was 6 years ago.
Still, can anyone help?

will you be doing something similar to Project X for FF13 as well?
