Ah, this can turn into something very, very good...
Did you use global variables?
If you didn't, they can be used for so many things...
For instance: Custom HP bars

As I posted in the other introduction forum I am fairly new. I think I only have 1 global variable in use but I can not for the life of me remember what it is. When my PC, which is what I use for programming, is back on line I will be able to refer to it. But for now the game is entirely all too simple.

The easiest way to make cooldowns that I have found, and I am fairly new to all this, is by the use of alarms.

Set the alarm to trigger when a button is pressed, then to time itself out for a certain amount of time then trigger itself again to create a cycle. My main PC is down for the moment or I would give you snippets of code to refer to.

First off let me start by saying just how cool I think it is to actually be part of a community of developers who I have already since subscribed to their content from the workshop. It is an honor to be amongst you fine ladies and gentlemen.

This is literally the only thing I have to contribute to this community as of last night since it is the only thing I feel proud enough of to release to the public. I was having too many issues implementing a hiscore system and adding multiple enemy types but it is still a decent time killer when all else fails.

I've been trying to learn C++, but the Redistributable hates me and won't install correctly </3

Cant be assed to learn any other language to be honest. With being a full time dad and having a full time job, my time and resources are extremely limited. Best of luck to you with that though!

I am in between learning how to do pixel art and use GameMaker for game development. I have a full version of GM after an impulse moment I had and tossed cash at YoYo. I have only fully(subjective term) developed one game that is currently on the workshop for GM. I am always looking for info and tips on how to better myself in both areas of development so if you have any questions or C&C for me I am always open!
