And one day later I got TF2 on August 3rd 2008... that's just nuts, was mostly silent in the Chambers/Sewers servers, but still glad to see this piece of history is still vibing with that residual good energy, y'all take care and see you on the flip side. 🫡

I remember the countless hours of my early teenager years playing on this server. It also introduced me to Madeon's music with it's banger Pop Culture intro. Thank you for the memories and helping me become a better gamer (both in skill and sportsmanship).

At the very least, I'll be setting up a museum of sorts, with most/all of the old maps on hand. Still working out many of the kinks, but it's close to release. Mainly looking for those with old TF2 installs to harvest some old map resources/etc

god, I loved the GMG maps. too bad they no longer exist (to my knowledge). this takes me way back, back before the mann-conomy update and me loosing my main account

I think I might make my own GMG style group and maps

messing around in the admin rooms, having rooms you can open/close with a door, swimming in a pool, and in general just messing around like the simpler times

Man, looking back at this relic really hit hard. I would think this was my first community group that I was interested in being part of; although I was the very quiet one, just lookin' yonder.
Back then I had a cursed amalgamation of a name, might recognize the name Novatuxo-Zretax or Xeno-Novatuxo Zaino-Zretax or some other cursed name.

Just stopping in to say this was my home in Team Fortress 2; with a special shoutout to Jewish Pickles and Noodle for always being an active, helpful part of the community that made it feel like the family I've missed for so many years now. Like noodle said, a lot happened to TF2 over the years, and nothin' lasts forever; but I'm making sure to take those memories with me (From getting my first hat drop, to participating in the soldier/demo wars, to all the map changes in between) there was always something going on that managed to get everybody else involved, and pull us away from the traditional gameplay we'd known at the time.
Thanks again, everybody- I'll never forget you guys!

Man I played this server back before starting high school and now here I am looking back after finishing college. Damn those where good times

This community made this game for me, the fun times, the memories and most importantly the weird and funny people that roamed this server made my early teen existence just a little brighter. Love you forever and always GMG. <3

I'll miss this server, it's admin drama, getting banned and unbanned again, sitting around for hours micspamming, creating teleporter traps on the slope, demoknight duels in the tunnel, ♥♥♥♥ I miss it.
