Well, I only played the demo and it's a bit difficult because you're thrown in and need to work out the dynamic but... the main character "Qtie" is a woman who has withdrawn from society to mainly live in her bedroom. It's trash filled.

She is a massive fan of Yunyun who she connects to via denpa music.... but I think Yunyun is in-universe a fictional character. As you play the rhythm game, Qtie types messages of adoration about Yunyun and posts them on the internet. Qtie amasses a huge social media following, and also posts conspiracy theories about Yunyun.

Yunyun does appear and seem to talk to her and offer encouragement and declarations of love, but I am guessing since she's in-universe fictional, that it's actually in Qtie's mind? As in, some form of delusion?

Maybe it gets clearer over time in the full game. I have a feeling the story will get quite dark.

You do have to put some effort in to unlock the routes. They aren't just free by progressing the game. I guess I'd consider it very light romance since the characters do flirt and stuff. However, like hard R romance it definitely isn't considering I completed the game in under 2 hours with every route. Also, I think the translation is a bit spotty so there may be a barrier there.

Angel Clicker intrigued me so I bought and beat it just now.
But yeah, can confirm everything that was said by DamnMeAgain. Theres a bit of flirting throughout as its heavily implied that her rival is her ex-girlfriend ,but 95% of your time will be just clicking on stuff and waiting for numbers to go up, so don't expect anything deep. The writing is more comedy focused which works fine for what the game is...

Angel Clicker does have yuri. The protag is a female angel and she can get into romantic interactions with a rival (it also ends with an explicit kiss). I won't spoil anything more though. It's a real time management game more than anything, so romance isn't the focus.

Also my prior post was not an endorsement for Wise Woman's Final Quest, I explicitely said it's subtext only...

Well in regards to Sojourning Wise Woman's Final Quest I'm still in contact with the dev. He at least said my input gave him a new perspective, so maybe the sequel will go all the way. The current release is not going beyond subtext though.
Also yeah, the AI art was very obvious. But at least it's not low quality like some other stuff I had to look through lately.

Well, the "second half" so to speak was very rushed, so I would welcome more content that gives it a bit more closure for sure.

I'm pretty sure the devs are going to make additional content for the game.

When you return to the shrine after the ending, the characters are talking about their research and how they can explore other places. That post-game area is perfect for being used as a lobby for additional content.

Plus, they didn't mention a single thing about what happened to Ann after that. She just got reset and recreated from zero, and that's it. There's a lot of room to explore there.

Yeah.... Homura Hime is kind of a mess, but a fun one. Even if you thought it had yuri potential I would say the ending gets in the way of that.

I just finished Homura Hime and I wish I could say it's yuri, but everything is too ambiguous to confirm anything, even though there are hints.

Because I know someone will wonder, while I'll cover this in the roundup a quick explanation of why I did add that last game to the list - the character in question calls you her soulmate and kisses you in the end. It's not a romance game though, don't play it just because you're looking for yuri.

So to respond to the two previous comments about Agent Sirius, I looked around on f95 and found this comment responding to a question about whether or not there are male characters in sex scenes: "There is exactly one dude who gets his ♥♥♥♥ wet aside from the guys in the beginning, and that's if you lose to Blind Poison." So there are guys in it (unavoidable at the start of the game).
Beyond that it seems to be pretty heavily into corruption (the FMC does lust after men, though I think there are plot reasons why) and futa. The end of the game does have FMC falling in love with her (female) best friend and doing the whole love conquers all thing (curing her corruption after turning evil and making a female slave harem out of all her classmates).

Overall I wouldn't really say this belongs on the main list (maybe an 'informational' or 'recommended against')

I played that when the phone app still existed, there are two female LIs (Altea and Helena). But this port is missing a lot of content from all the routes, those two included. ("Until Season 5" when they each had 9 seasons...)

Technically it should probably be added as an Informational entry for consistency sake, even if it is pretty vapid.

There are quite a few female companion mods out there that have female Dragonborn affirming romance dialogue (SDA comes to mind where she yells at enemies to "Leave my girlfriend alone!" for example, which is either sweet or eye rolling, depending on your disposition) but I don't believe modded content is applicable to the main listing.

I have to disagree slightly on Skyrim mods, the Serana dialogue overhaul is fun and seems to drop hints that Serana may well be into women independently of the player's gender. But yes, the base game experience is pretty bare-bones, and frankly the game doesn't even really have any same-sex romance acknowledgement outside of the PC being able to marry the same sex. Still, some entries on the list only have slightly more content.

It's not on the list. Not much of a loss though. Skyrim's "romance" and marriage is about as engaging as writing yes on a marriage form. Not even modders could ever make romance or marriage have any substance in that game.
But yes, you can marry women as a female dragonborn and even adopt children and buy a house together.

Was Skyrim included on the list? I don't see anything on the steam page, but sometimes I overlook it. You can make a female character, and marry a female npc.
