I'm interested in playing Highlander as a Medic. I'm still a noob, I've only played ~250 hours, but I'm still interested in playing Newbie Mixes to improve my skills.

Anyway, I was just wondering, do you have any suggestions on what I should do/maps to play on to improve my skills?

Are there any good places around to get demos from high-level UGC games (NA Plat...etc) for each of the classes? STVs of the major games can be found but when learning a specific class (in my case medic), I need to be seeing the players HUD and stuff to get anything out of it. I tried looking for demos, and the internet seems to be flooded with 6v6 demos, but not much quality HL stuff. and there's only one of those for medic.

My clan needs another new clan to practice HL against, is there anyone up for it?

North America and Europe have multiple skill divisions, due to the large number of teams that take part in the UGC HL Season, which are named Platinum, Silver, Steel and Iron. Australia currently only has 1 division, as the HL scene is very young, but will however be looking to branch out to multiple division as more teams choose to compete.

Ah, then what's all the platinum stuff about?

i don't think that there will be skill divisions, because we'd need about 30 teams in order to fill two divisions (and have a full playoff schedule, ie. 16 teams)

Great to see a group aimed at helping newer players who might only have pub experience transition into the competitive HL format. Looking forward to some good imput on maps and weapon unlocks.
