Leadership Change - Game Ban

As we all know, it has been grueling being in CS:GO matchmaking because in every other game there would be a smurf or a hacker. In order to combat the hackers, I decided to implement a system in which we would "toggle" in the event that we would encounter hackers. This system has gotten me a game ban by overwatch.

I recall the exact game that I'm sure got me banned in particular and it was when Hawke and I faced off against a team of 4/5 hackers in one game. Rage got the better of me and I rage hacked. We still lost that game. As a result of my ban, I would like to formally apologize for my actions. Also, I am also stepping down as leader of The Parakeets, or Le Oiseaux.

Leadership has been transferred over to someone who I trust. For now, I will be taking a break from the game. In a few days I will make a few additional posts regarding what will happen to the clan going forward.

Kebli, one of our star Parakeet players, has decided to leave the Parakeets in order to join a clan that may or may not be sponsored for the Mexican League. We'd like to wish Kebli a proper farewell. Best of luck to our fellow (ex) Parakeet.

Because I feel the number of people in our clan has been over-inflated for quite some time, I have removed all the people (which was about 7-8) who stopped playing with us, bringing our clan back to 19. However, I will be doing purges on a more regular basis to keep our clan how it was always meant to be: A small community.

Biceps, this also serves as a warning to you to either play with us within the next few days or risk being removed.

Regarding Cerberus VAC situation.

As we know, some of suffered deranks from Cerberus receiving a VAC ban for hacking. Cerberus has been very apologetic and claims he did not hack when he played with us. Regardless, we were affected and hacking stands against everything The Parakeets stand for. We are a friendly community and a casual clan at that, so hacking is something we should all be strictly against.

It is for this reason that Cerberus has been removed from The Parakeets. Keep in mind, this removal is not permanent. I also believe in second chances, but Cerberus will have to regain our trust if he wants to enter our clan again.
