Shady used to have an auto-inviter that invited massive amounts of people all at a time, making the group go up in members by the second. But he told me that program is no longer working and/or supported my the old developers anymore.

It's clear this group is inactive right now. Hopefully the Steam Community will have a sudden urge to join this group, to the point where we regained our 1,000 members.
