Im in the UK and me and my playing partner are having the same issue - App isn't working and I cant even access the web site. There is no info on facebook or twitter. I have messages at both but no reply so far.

same here - when I interpret the errormessage on steam login correectly the have a time issue The website is up but the authentication against steam does not work because the timestamp is apparently in the future ( but for me 2 hours behind )

but the website also loads extremly slow

I guess we will have to wait for the devs to say something. I hope I don't get skipped while this issue is on going.

An automatic system to restart all turn timers during downtime would be a welcome feature I think.
I was able to download 2 turns, but now can't upload my turn at all...

It would be nice if there is some sort of a notification somewhere regarding the GMR server being under maintenance or not. I suggest using this discussion board, I am not sure which is most used by GMR users, but I would prefer here over facebook or twitter as every GMR user has to have steam anyway.
