Hi richardleitch5 - i haven't experienced any interruption of service - the gmr client upgrade actually has improved connectivity issues I've had in the past. Could it be your firewall blocking it? Possibly the updating triggered it like a new app to the firewall and now it blocked access? Can you maybe check your firewall settings to see if its blocked, or see if you can trust the app?

GMR is not anywhere on the firewalls list so...

Are you getting this right when opening the client and its trying to login? Can you get to the GMR website itself without issues? if you check the authentication key (settings, Authentication key) does it match the website (download tab).

Could you try uninstalling and re-installing the GMR Client from here: http://multiplayerrobot.com/ClientDeploy/setup.exe

re-installing dint work.
i found my athentication key on the websight but cant find where to use it on the downloading tab.

You can click on the little gear in the top right corner, where you access the settings, then select authentication key. I'm not sure if this is the cause or not though - I'm not sure what error message would be generated when the authentication key doesn't match.. But - we should make sure they are matching at least.

It seems you need to connect in order to click on that little gear thing.

I'm not sure if the debug log is something that is generated yet, or if you have to connect or not first, but can you check this path to see if you have a debug_log.txt? And see if there are any errors in it? This is the path for Windows 7.. I'm not sure for Win8 where it would be (I don't have a win8 box to check).

C:\ProgramData\GmrClient\Debug Logs\GmrClient
