Trade bug with GMR
I'm playing a game where we've reached endgame, it's around 1995 (turn 275) right now but since maybe the 1700's I've had a bug where I cannot receive or send any trade offers. Or rather, I can send and receive them, but the ones I send are cancelled with a "Deal no longer valid" once my next turn comes up and the same thing happens if I try to accept one sent to me.
Needless to say, it's rather annoying to have this handicap in a game that I've invested almost 300 days in :/

Hi Sartain, if it is a bug, this would be a bug in the Civ game itself, once the game is loaded, everything is managed by the Civilization game. The GMR just controls the passing of the save game and injects the password as far as I'm aware; however, the programmers (Nullmaster or Tazzik) can correct me if I'm wrong though. I know I've seen that happen, but I've never seen it happen all the time for me, so I'm not sure what could cause that.

I've played a lot of vanilla Civ multiplayer and never had it happen there. Of course, that's hardly proof of one thing or the other, but I'd at least recommend try looking out for this, in case it is somehow GMR interfering. I was thinking it might be since the problem seems to happen in-between turns which is handled by the app.

Unfortunately, GMR has no control over most of the inner workings of a save. The diplomacy bug is from Civ V's hot seat game mode. I've had it happen in some of my own games, and I'm really not sure what causes it or how to fix it.

Ah right, I've of course never played actual hotseat. I guess it's in the same category as the horrible "can edit then accept another player's trade offer" bug, which apparently has existed for years without being fixed.
