(Sorry, I had accidentally posted this in the wrong thread!)

That's an error I haven't seen before. You could try cleaning emptying the directory:

%userprofile%\AppData\Local\Apps\2.0\

If you have any other applications on your system that were installed via Microsoft's Click Once then they'll need to be reinstalled. But that should allow you to install the GMR Client.
