Looking to join League games, but unable to create games.

I'm keen to start a game or 2 in the league, but I'm unable to start the actual games due to not having all the DLC required to load the initial save file.
Out of the DLC required, I only have BNW, G&K, Conquest Deluxe and Mongolia. I hope to pick up all the others eventually, most likely the next time they go on sale.

First, I'd like to find a player or 2 to challenge. Preferably other newbies to the League, but I'm not sure how likely that would be.
Once I get into it a bit more, I will likely upgrade to 10/unlimited games, so then obviously I will be able to accept/issue more challenges.

Second, I'm wondering how often the DLC Civs actually get used, and if there would be any chance of getting a theme with minimal/no DLC other than G&K/BNW, or at least have the save file with no DLC enabled, so then anyone would be able to host the games, and enable DLC as required.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, Theme 1 or 7 is fine with me.

Do you mean that you are unable to load the config file from the theme page?

Hi Xaviien - you don't have to use the league theme games that I've uploaded for everyone to grab - you can create your own when you are the host, then you wouldn't have a DLC issue; however, you would need to make it clear to those joining that some DLC you don't have, so they know they can't pick those civilizations.

Hey Xaviien, I just opened more games. Start a game like Rillithain said and send me an invite. I will walk you through the process if you need me to. I am also fairly new to GMR and I know it can be daunting to get started.

Ahhhh thanks very much Rill!

I was under the impression we were required to use those saves, like HoF or GotM.

And thanks greycat, but I have already started a game on GMR, I just wasn't clear on starting a league game. Everything is clear as crystal now, but for starters, I think I'll just join the game you invited me to.
