Hey, those are both great! I was also thinking, now that the league has been going for a while, and people have an idea about which players will be active participants, it might be possible to get some games going with 6-8 players.

Another idea I had was the creation of more permanent themes. These could be more standard type games with standard type settings, perhaps with a range of players (2-4) and different VC's.
Examples
1. 2-4 player All VC (except time)
2. 2-4 player Dom
3. 2-4 player Science
4. 2-4 player Culture
5. 2-4 player Diplo
Then with each monthly theme, you could try different things for an enhanced experience. I think this would get more games going. I know this would probably make things more complicated for you, though, so...

I feel like it is the language of the player of the previous turn. Messages that spawn at end of my previous turn (from city states, etc. are in my language, but anything at beginning of next turn will be what I am assuming is the previous players language, although I suppose it could be the host, but I think it has happened in games where I am host, so back to previous player theory.

Awesome, that's 4. @Homer, how should we handle the picking of civs? All same or what?
