Can't join servers.
I follow the links, sign in, and select the Event Servers tab. But I can't join any of them. Won't load or anything, I click in the Connect/Ping button but nothing happens.

Been trying for a couple days but no luck.

Steam being fucky, use ingame browser or the connect command in console

Pretty sure I am using the in-game browser and I don't know how to use the connect command.

within TF2 click 'Find Game', 'Community Servers', 'Internet', Tags Include 'Potato' either double click a server, or right-click 'Connect to server'.

Internet section is broken today, all it says that there is no internet games listed on the master server

This works, but after like 5 tries I still can't find a game that isn't already ongoing. And I can't tell which maps/missions they are until after I'm in.

It's better than nothing but still means a lot of work for my tour.

oh, sorry. uncheck 'Simplified list'. you can then filter out full games, only search ones that have players, and see what map, and wave they are on or setting up.

Still would be nice if their site was fixed but hey I've gotten 4 games done now.

On the website, open the "Connect" link in a new tab. You can do that by right-clicking the ping indicator and selecting "Open In New Tab". This should trigger the Steam connect protocol and get you into the server.

Depending on your choice of web browser, you might need to allow it to run the steam:// protocol.
