Glitch with contract?

So one of the contracts for pyro has an objective about pushing the bomb carrier back. I've done this multiple times, yet it doesn't work. Any suggestions?

IIRC you have to push it back enough so that it triggers the announcer voice line.

pushing it into the pit doesn't count

usually the easiest way to do this is to push it to a lower place that's still a part of the overall bot path such as the bridge on Maelstrom near the bomb hatch or the bend around the rock on Barren

This might be the only way to do it. It only works on Maelstrom map.
