Known issues:
- The difficulty might be brutal for an advanced mission.
- Some of the bots doesn't have uber full effect on their model
- Wave 7 as an error is totally intentional design much like horrosome happenings

General Feedback:
  • Mission feels very spammy with how many commons and mini giants are active at times. This causes waves to feel "same-y", while also making it frustrating to play as spy (only silver lining being how effective spy is vs. mini giants)
  • On the flipside, many of these mini giants are relatively non-threatening and easy to gun down anyway, like the bread-bite mini giants. They have very little pushing power compared to something like a steel gauntlet.
  • "Joker" Final boss needs a rework. Uber canteens on a chief feels rather annoying to face, as it basically forces players to stop interacting with the boss due to something outside of the player's control.


Custom Upgrade Feedback
  • Wasp Mk2 - Overall might be better as a custom weapon than an upgrade (Although the weapon this is based upon has always been a bit boring)
  • Missile Shot - Upgrade is in need of a rework. In it's current iteration, it feels more like a hinderance than a benefit. Between the slower firing rate, low clip size and near impossible rocket jumping, the 50% damage bonus just does not feel worth it.
  • The Thermal Cannon - In it's current state, this upgrade is too powerful. A DPS upgrade that provides more value than reload, firing speed or damage.
  • This, on top of the fact that exploding on surfaces (and an explosive radius bonusalso makes the grenade launcher much easier to use makes this upgrade an extremely powerful upgrade.
  • Given how many hidden stats this weapon uses to make it work, this could also likely be turned into a custom weapon outright instead of just an additional upgrade for the grenade launcher
  • Buckshot Grenade - Too weak to really justify. For an upgrade you need to pay for, this weapon reduces your overall DPS for a very small bonus in short term damage. This weapon currently has too many downsides to really consider taking in a serious environment
  • The Bastion - Way too powerful. Between the +2 disposables, the building health, and increased support buildings this weapon is just way too powerful for it's own good. Even if the price were doubled, this upgrade would still be overpowered.
  • +1 Extra Projectile Shot - Typo in the name "projcetile"
  • Missle Shot and WASP mk 2 should not be obtainable together. Currently if you buy both, rockets are completely unuseable.
Version 2:
Updated the mission and can now be judged on the _judge.pop file.

General changes:
  • Many of the waves have been revised to be less spammy with their reduced spawncount and maxactive.
  • Many of the custom upgrades have been replaced by Dr.Cactus' overclocks
  • Wave 4: Blunderbuss Scout now have crits
  • Wave 5: Replaced Moldy Bread Punchie to a Scatter Demoman
  • Removed Uber Canteens of The Joker and made use 3 crit canteens maximum
  • Added glow on Super scouts on wave 7

General Feedback:
  • The Sentry Busters have a long InitialCooldown and CooldownTime.

Wave 4:
  • The first tanks although fast, they are very weak with combined health of 13500 and if there's a pyro on the team, he's gonna melt them very fast. I suggest making them more tanky.

Wave 5:
  • The middle of the wave feels very spammy. I suggest either making some bots slower to spawn or make minigiant demos not minigiants.

Wave 6:
  • Airblast Pyros have very annoying airblast as it's pushes the players far and has bigger airblast radius. I recommend removing those two attributes.
  • The wave is weak compared to the rest. - Mudun

Wave 7:
  • The crits on enforcer are very frustrating as they deal full damage and can one shot light classes.
Version 3:
Updated the mission and can now be judged on the _judge.pop file.
Overclocks however are not updated and please do not give the feedback on the overclocks

General changes:
  • Wave 4: Buffed the first three tanks to 7.5k
  • Wave 5: Removed 6 Scatter demo's, reduced the maxactive down to 4 and increased the waitbetweentimer to 10 seconds
  • Wave 5: Changed of the support pacing
  • Wave 6: Reduced the knockback force of the Sergeant Blastoff
  • Wave 6: Added 18 heavies on the first subwave
  • Wave 6: Increased the buff and support soldier skill to hard. Battalion soldiers are set to skill expert
  • Wave 6: Removed the airblast radius and reduced airblast force down to 50% of the airblast pyro's
  • Wave 7: Replaced Joker's enforce to a revolver and bumped damage bonus to 300%

Wave 2:
  • Roughly 4 soldiers straggled at the end of the wave

Wave 3:
  • Give the chief demoknight the chief icon in the wavebar before the mission starts

Wave 4:
  • Disable smoke stack on the all but the smallest tank in the matryoshka tank
  • Direct hits seem to walk back and forth a lot instead of shooting
  • Replace loose cannon demomen

Version 4:
Ported the mission to rc7 map, mission name will be same and can be judged under _judge.pop. Also updated the Dr.Cactus' overclocks so if you want to approve some of the overclocks this the time to do so now.

General Changes:
  • Fixed the overclock: Extra Gunpowder unable to purchase clip size atomic upgrade
  • Blacklisted Rifle Mastery overclock on the Sydney Sleeper
  • Wave 2: Soldier at the final subwave now spawns earlier once all the mini-giant medics are spawned in.
  • Wave 3: Replaced demo_knight icon to a demo_bomber (chief) icon of the fake wavebar.
  • Wave 4: Disabled smoke track on the smol tank
  • Wave 4: Direct soldier now use action mobber instead of action sniper, decreased spawntimer down to 20 seconds.
  • Wave 4: Replaced Burst Cannon Demo to a Clusterbomb Demo
Version 5:
Despite the missing feedback from the previous run, I will update it now (and also was present during the judging run as a playtester) Mission can now be judged on the same _judge.pop file

Gerenal Changes:
  • Popfile now uses #base for overclocks
  • Direct hit soldiers now go for the bomb instead of mobbers and toned the skill down to hard
  • Fixed some giants not having tag bot_giant
  • Wave 2: Removed the mini-giant syringe medics and removed some crocdile snipers
  • Wave 3: Made skeletons spawn more and renamed Smg skeleton to rattler skeleton
  • Wave 4: Skeleton Archer are now gatebots
  • Wave 6: Replaced the first subwave heavy to buff soldiers. Changed the second subwave buff soldiers have been replaced to a giant medic and removed one squad. Reduced the afterburn damage on the Giga burst ignite Soldier and made uber medics armored. Replaced Bonk Scouts support into crit boosted pryo's and replaced Soldier support into direct hit soldier.
  • Wave 7: Buffed both bosses their hp and Bowman are now penetator bowman

Wave 4:
  • The wave has a large amounts of knockback which makes pyro very hard and not fun to play, consider lowering the knockback.

General Changes:
  • Wave 4: Replaced Giant Blast Soldier into a Giant Homing Burst Soldier
  • Wave 4: Replaced Armored FaN Scout into a Armored Soda Popper Scout
  • Wave 4: Clusterbomb Demo's no longer deals blast damage.

General Feedback:
  • Waves appear to lack gatebots past the first few subwaves, every subwave beside the final one should have some form of gatebot.

Wave 1:
  • barely any killing power since 90% of the wave is comprised of weak giants, melee, and pyros, that along with the high dps requirement makes it very boring to fight.
  • 2nd to last sub needs gatebots.

Wave 2:
  • make the grapids into gatebot bursts. The current rapids are a mild difficulty spike in comparison to the rest of the wave, making them bursts would be a sufficient nerf.
  • add gatebots to 2nd sub


Wave 3:
  • The Giant KGB heavies would work better as gatebots, especially since said subwave doesn't have any at the moment.

Wave 5:
  • 1st sub is the same issue as w1, a lot of bots that barely do anything, making them a chore to chew through.
  • 2nd to last sub needs gatebots.
Version 6:

This time there will be restrictions on the next judging runs. So please follow the restrictions. Happy defending the gate then!
I don't feel like doing anymore changes if the next few judging runs don't leave good positive feedback.
- No Explosive Headshot
- No Shield (With the exception on 5man running and no heavy)
- No Uber/Crit Canteen
- While they shouldn’t be completely disregarded, avoid using very high power/cheese strategies in adv.

General Changes:
  • Added more gatebots on all waves on the second subwave.
  • And some stuff changes i might have forgotten.

Wave 1:
  • Replaced Powerjack Pyro's into Homewrecker pyro's and added crits
  • Bumped the skill of Balloon popper medic to hard and removed the damage penalty
  • Replaced Moldy Bread Punchie into Gatebot Demoman
  • Removed Conflicting cosmetic on the pyro's on the second subwave
  • Bumped the skill of Pyro's to hard, Added alwaysfireweapon attribute.

Wave 2:
  • Replaced Giant Rapid Fire Soldier into Gatebot GIant Burst Fire Soldier
  • Added shotgun heavies as gatebots

Wave 3:
  • Giant Punchie is now gatebot

Wave 4:
  • Matryoshka Tanks have been buffed: 1st tank has 11k, second tank has 9k and made it invulnerable to damage until the big tank is destroyed. Added Yakuza title card for the funnies.
  • Properly fixed Giant Burst Homing Soldier showing the default robot model.

Wave 5:
  • GIant Demoman are now Rapid Fire but removed the shield targe to compensate.
  • Scatter Demo is now a gatebot
