General Feedback:
  • Please remove the judging restrictions popfile as the difficulty is labeled expert. Keep in mind that Judging restrictions only apply to Intermediate and Advanced difficulty
  • This mission clearly shows it hasn’t been properly tested, one heavy decided to use an overclock that destroys everything in his path. Take a grain of salt but we cannot even give you a proper wave feedback due to how strong one overclock is. Consider removing or testing the mission without any overclocks.

Custom Upgrades Feedback:
  • Majority of the overclocks have weird upgrades that either don’t do anything useful or are just straight-up confusing. For example, headshot overclock on the wrangler and cash grab magnet on every slot available on the engineer slots. This seriously needs more polishing.
  • Giant Heavy Shotgun Oc: Clearly the most overpowered overclock that you can get on the minigun. How this overclock is available on the minigun is beyond anyone’s mind.
  • Flamethrower oc: Doesn’t work on the Dragon’s Fury and when the pyro reflects has a huge smoke attribute which can be confusing to players and block players' view which is really annoying.

General: Fixed broken overclock upgrades
Wave 4:
- Moved giant bison scouts so they spawn with widowmaker engies
- Widowmaker engies now have skill expert

General Feedback:
  • When we tried it out, the explosive bullets OC for the Soda Popper was extremely overpowered, capable of dealing twice a Heavy's damage on W1 and scaling absurdly well with more cash. It is also extremely laggy to look at because every bullet is explosive and makes a explosion cloud. If you haven't adjusted this yet please please do.
  • If you haven't already, remove the judging restrictions from the popfile.
  • Overall this mission suffers from an inverse difficulty curve - the bot composition of the first wave has an very steep DPS demand but every other wave feels more like an Advanced in terms of challenge.

Wave 1
  • Double G heavy and Double df pyro,followed by another g heavy and double df pyro afterwards all with hard ai is incredibly deadly at this stage of the mission
  • Throw in the groups of steel gauntlets and the tank and you have a very high dps demand that is likely to only be reasonably met with a heavy (likely heav**ies**) with healing support from a med or milking scout

Just letting you know this mission is being updated, it will need a few more public tests as I am adding a custom class using the civilian which may be potentially game-changing.

I haven't had the time to do public playtests, so apologies if it looks unpolished. Also, I may have forgotten to list additional changes due to it being so long since I last worked on the mission. Please suggest if I should do more public tests after judging.

General:
- Used AllowCivilianClass kv to add a new class: trooper
- - trooper comes with an assault rifle and a healthkit launcher
- trooper gives slow healing and 35% damage protection when melee is active

Wave 1:
- Replaced plasma demos with normal demos
- Slightly tweaked wavespawn timings

Wave 3:
- Replaced burst fire scouts with regular hard ai scouts

Wave 4:
- Added noformation to the giant CoK heavy and giant combo pyros
- Replaced colonel barrage with giant rocket rain
- Replaced super scouts with giant winger scouts
- Increased total payout to 1200

Wave 5:
- Nerfed boss's hp to 100k

Suggestions: play as trooper (civilian) at least once but be warned, as he has a tendency to crash clients

General Feedback
  • Much of the mission felt very much weaker than it should be with the expert difficulty label.
  • Disable the custom canteen upgrading unless you're able to restrict it to only apply to your civilian class. It's confusing to players and can consume their credits before they understand that it's functionally similar to normal canteens.

Wave 1
  • Tank should be moved to the penultimate subwave and followed up with/accompanied by the giant heavies.

Wave 2
  • This wave could use an additional ending subwave, a single strong giant with support would do the trick.

Wave 3
  • This wave felt lacking in substance at the end again similar to the previous one.

Wave 4
  • The starting and ending subwaves of this wave are lacking in difficulty.

Wave 5
  • This wave feels straight out of an advanced mission.
