While testing these missions, we nerfed ourselves in several ways: no Medic shield allowed, no airblast spamming, no gas passer, no bodyblocking, etc.

If we could complete each mission under those conditions reasonably quickly during testing, they're absolutely possible for advanced-level players with all the tools at their disposal.

If the armored scouts keep losing the wave for you, it means you need better CC (milk, jarate, sapper) and higher DPS on them. Ammo canteens will instantly regenerate a Scout's Mad Milk and give you more chances to slow them down. Any class can bodyblock the giant and slow it down for several more seconds. A well-placed sentry gun can block the giant for a solid 15 seconds. Everybody should be focusing on the giant to kill it as quickly as possible.

The tour is harder than Two Cities, but it's not Expert-level.

Hydrogen is the original owner and operator of Potato's MvM Servers. He initially helped put together Mappers vs. Machines with TF2Maps, and since then has been the main brain/operating force behind Titanium Tank, Canteen Crasher, Memes vs. Machines, and Madness vs. Machines.

Throughout all of our events, he's been the sole guy doing pretty much all the technical behind-the-scenes work to put everything together.

More recently, various factors (disagreements with Potato's staff, graduate school and other real-life obligations) have caused him to leave TF2 and transfer Potato's over to the remaining staff.

I think that sums it up pretty nicely.

Some contracts were reset and stars lost due to a bug with our database server. We're working to bring them back up and fix everything as soon as possible. In the meantime, please bear with us.

Database work is being done as we speak to fix this issue and the other issues that we're seeing now (contracts being reset, stars being lost). I don't have any other update to give on the situation right now, but we're aware of it and are working to fix it now. No ETA as of now.

There's also Maple HIll and Frostwynd (kinda), for what it's worth.

If you left the server/disconnected for a while and rejoined then the last wave won't register, sorry. There is also a known bug where if you leave the server after the last wave before the "Next mission loads in x" countdown hits 0, it sometimes won't count your wave credit.

Rest assured we still see your wave completion in the database and it should update by tonight.
