Your mission being impossible is another story but that's not relevant since you broke rule #1 (making a mission for a valve map).

The contest rules didn't state you had to make your own map. In fact, it was specifically against the rules to make a mission for a map you've contributed to.

You were supposed to make a mission for any custom map that fit the contest rules, like everybody else did. Your mission got disqualified because you apparently didn't read the rules of this contest.[github.com]

Yes. It broke two of the contest rules:

• No missions for Valve maps; custom maps only.
  
• Missions must be beatable and of roughly advanced difficulty.

The .vmt's and .vtf's you need are in the materials folder. The .png is just for your personal reference, so you can see what the icon looks like.

Seems like a bunch of missions have dragon's fury Pyros in them, and every mission has their own icon.

Of course, this isn't mandatory to have in your mission; I just think it looks nice and that more missions should use it. Let's try to keep some sort of standards with our icons!
