Strike, Pass, or No Strike?: No Strike

General Feedback:
  • Consider not going overboard with Sniper mission support.
  • Bots don't seem to keep up with the money as the wave progresses - when you send two Giant Heavies with Uber Medics on wave 1 with $950, the later waves will have a high bar to meet. It doesn't feel right to be facing such strong giants early on and then face weaker ones when we have more cash, e.g. the Giant DF Pyros on wave 4.
  • Remember that whenever you send two wavespawns at once, each with a different timing and a maxactive that is lower than it's spawncount, they're bound to desync at some point and cause stragglers. There are a couple of ways to circumvent this:

    -Make it so that the longer wavespawn is not completely reliant on the other to do something, so that the longer wavespawns straggling isn't as much of an issue.
    e.g. When you send 20 Bonk Scouts and 3 Giant Rapid Fire Soldiers, the Bonk Scouts are going to be helpless when the Giant Rapid Fire Soldiers run out. However, if the Bonk Scouts run out first, the Giant Rapid Fire Soldiers aren't going to be as helpless.

    -Make it so the next subwaves only wait for one of the wavespawns to finish up before spawning

Wave 2:
  • The use of Giant Backup Soldiers is very questionable here - they're not exactly good at doing a lot by themselves and just end up being tedious unless combined with something that gets really nasty when it has the backup effect, and even then it's easy to go overboard with it.

Wave 6:
  • The Crit Heavies here end up doing a majority of the work. It doesn't feel nice to have a boss wave and not have the boss be the main threat.
