Feedback on the used Rebalanced Weapons
  • Baby Face's Blaster: is OK.
  • Thermal Thruster: is OK.
  • Eureka Effect: is OK.
  • Warrior's Spirit: there's little point in using this weapon as KGB as almost a straight upgrade.
  • Eviction Notice: there's little point in using this weapon as KGB as almost a straight upgrade. It's even worse on this weapon where landing kills is much harder with its damage penalty.
  • Tomislav: the given buffs do minimal changes and it doesn't change this weapon's position amongst other miniguns.

General Feedback
  • This mission is way above the maximum difficulty threshold for Intermediate. Consider that Decoy is a very small map and bots love to use attack from multiple directions in this map when red players are holding at hatch area.

Wave 1
  • Super Scouts are extremely powerful on Decoy due to the map's size, relatively few amount of chokes and few ways to catch up with them. Use them with care and not on a $1000 starter Intermediate difficulty mission. Especially if it's a Force-a-Nature Super Scout.
  • The Giant Soldiers demand too much damage to take out, relative to the cash given, difficulty and map length.
  • Do not underestimate Quick-Fix Medics, especially ones that can uber,

Wave 2
  • The second subwave with the last two Giant Pyros is very weak compared to the first one.

Wave 3
  • The second set of battalions soldiers mostly felt like fillers.

Wave 4
  • Super Scouts are too frequent for the amount of bots they come with.

Wave 5
  • This wave demands way too much damage from red players.
  • The Pyros and the Bigheal Medics are a very nasty support. AlwaysFire Pyros makes Spy painful to play while Bigheal Medics could potentially detach and heal giants by a lot.

Wave 6
  • Too many Uber Medic pairs for the intended difficulty.

General Feedback
  • This mission is extremely stingy with money. No, adding $100 per wave won't cut it. Giving extremely limited money especially on an intermediate severely limits the bots you can send without it ending up ridiculous. This run did find a few subwaves too difficult for Intermediate.
  • Most of the subwaves are very slow with the spawns, especially the giant spawns. Having a WaitForAllDead, streams of endless support commons and a giant typically results in red chipping small bots off the bomb for a long time while waiting for the slow giant to come.
  • Most of the subwaves with giants and non-support commons often end up in the giant and common spawns being very de-synced and resulting in them only attacking one by one.
  • The following wave-specific feedbacks will only list the ones that were not covered by this section.

Wave 5
  • The explanation text is very unpleasant to read; it comes out of nowhere, it points to something not very relevant and sounds like it was spoken or written by a child that isn't very good at English.
  • "Conchistador" is "Conquistador" in English.
  • The boss is incredibly underwhelming regardless and feels like a lazy filler more than anything.

Wave 6
  • The obscene amount of incendiary robots makes scout, medic and especially spy incredibly painful to play; it's really not great playing those classes when everything sets you on fire.
  • Incendiary bots do not appear any different than normal bots aside from their relatively hard to spot unique projectile trails.
  • This wave was anticlimactic compared to the previous waves which are much more difficult.
