I was playing pyro and I loved reflecting in "3 2 1 Allatonce."

I then got the idea of an MvM mission where you *have* to reflect projectiles to win. There will only be projectile classes, with reflectible projectiles.

It would be like a Whack-a-mole or Touhou game.

The answer depends on if you will utilize the nav mesh.

If you are going to use the nav mesh, then it is possible to get bots to airstrafe.

• Bots will always attempt to move when in a nav area, regardless if they are on the ground. As a result, you can organize navigation areas into a layout that will trick bots into airstrafing towards a direction[github.com]. Just don't forget to put the navigation area layout in the air, and also utilize the PRECISE attribute if needed.
  
• If you want an example of navigation areas in a layout to get bots to airstrafe, check out my custom pl_vigil nav mesh[github.com], as I implement the technique in BLU spawn on the shelves.

I was thinking about making nav meshes for MvM maps in the next potato.tf campaign. Among that process I thought about getting bots to airstrafe.

I am able to get bots to airstrafe through a technique I use[github.com], and I have achieved the behavior in a test nav mesh.

However I was not certain if this is a good idea, so I thought: Should bots in MvM be able to airstrafe?
