Given that TT lasted 7 months and CC is significantly larger, I'd say even 7 months is low-balling it.

We'll ask people to put money in the donation box, and if we get enough to cover a server, we'll use that money to rent a server in the Pacific.

Right now, with us banning donations, we can't get a pacific server since there's no budget for it, but if people want to give us the budget to get one, then why should we stop them? We'll gladly do all the labor for setting up and running that server for free, if the community is willing to pay the server hosting costs. It's not that we don't want to do the work to get one running (we're very willing to do that work), it's just that we don't have the budget to get one running.
