Alrighty, i've played quite a bit of the Meme Vs Machine event and i've got a few things i would like to say:

Pros:
1. This event is the best one since CC, the levels are fun and the difficulty is hard enough to make everyone chill, unlike CC missions.

2.The potato medal is brilliant, 'nuff said.

3.Lots of these meme missions are a great laugh, who ever made the one with a tank on a Soldier's head really deserved his medal.

Cons:
1. The servers can get quite full at times, this reminded me of the early days of Canteen Crasher where it only had 5 servers and everyone is filling up all the slots in servers. (I know 30+ servers is a lot, but for a 1 week event everyone is going to fill them up like mad)

2. Sometimes the server would take forever to load into even with the asset packs, but this only happens with only with a few maps, i couldnt remember the map names though.


Thats all for now, this is a great event. Hope to see more of these in the future!

I agree,I've been playing CC from Day 1 and getting stars before this new patch was harder and needed more effort and grind to get the medals.

When i got my golden medal at 155 stars, i took a break from quite some time from CC.

I downloaded the new patch files yesterday and i have no idea what the !item command thing does.

I wanted to get 200 stars for fun and to prove to my friend that its not possible to get the Platinum medal without submitting anything to CC.

I was surprised that each individual contracts gave a bunch of stars, like the Big Black Box contract.

So yeah, the contracts should be "toned down" or something like that.

My guess is that when CC was first released, there were only 6 servers, and they were full 24/7. I had to sell my soul to get into a server or had to keep refreshing the page hoping for an empty slot in the server.So there was no room for error and if you made too many mistakes, you were kicked. So most people there were experienced mvm players or players who have a good understanding of the gamemode.

But since there are 20+ something servers and Youtubers promoting the servers, more newbies start to populate the servers since there are bunch of space/slots in servers.
I always get either:
Some very foreign guy who dosent speak english and with a very deep voice that likes to yell at the medic or his teammates but does nothing for his team
Or
A Vietnamese who keeps mic-spamming gibberish when his team cant understand anything.

(Sorry if i offended anyone)

From my personal experience, newbies are less likely to listen to other players or do anything to help their team(Not all newbies do this, but most of them) But this could be just them wanting to do contracts, like Randomystick said:

I managed to get my medal at 155/150, so you dont have to fully get to 160 stars to get the medal

The highest i've got was over 800 ping on Waterfront.





Lets just say that it was hell.
But i didnt mind though, i still managed to get an A+ rating anyways.
