The way I think about it is that everyone has a reason. That, and I'm really too weak to get angry. If I get angry, everyone laughs, so I don't even have the option. Instead I just try to figure out why, and defend people (verbally). Try to expand everyone's perspectives, if I can. Are those people racist because someone they knew was gang raped by people with a certain colored skin? Or did they grow up in a household where they've been told all their lives the horrors of that race? Hate only breeds hate, and you don't fight fire with fire. (No, I'm not talking about controlled forest fires.)

And I know you're going to hate to hear this, but Trump is popular in America for two reasons: 1) America's population is composed mostly of idiots, and 2) Despite EVERYTHING (the hotheadedness, the not-so-nice remarks, the trigger happy idiots he attracts, etc.), Trump is smart, period. He built an entire empire from the ground up, and used our own broken system to his benefit. And not only is he smart, but he has nothing to gain by running for president save padding his own ego. He already has all of the money to have whatever kinds of power he wants. I think the only reason he's running is because he once joked that he would.

Anyway, Hilary let our own people die horrible deaths, and Sanders...yah no, Sanders would be as much of a push over as Obama has been. Ted Cruz played dirty in the preliminaries, and no one cares about the other guy. Plus, Trump has been dishing out some nasty words, yes, but when has he ever attacked his own people (not including his ex-wives)? I'd be embarrassed to have him as president, yes, but I'm so sick of our presidents doing nothing, that maybe another hotheaded Reagan figure is what we need to get people to stop looking away from their own problems.

And honestly, I think that racism and global warming are the least of our problems right now, when there's an extremely organized faction in the Middle East trying to blow EVERYONE up. It's time to stop fighting ourselves and fight against the people trying to blow everything and everyone up.

Of course it is. ^_^ I had a roommate for three years with it. I dunno if his was mild or severe, but he played it in a way that made his Tourettes look like he was tired or uncomfortable. Like he was constanly moving his jaw and shaking his head, and sometimes he'd twitch, but he didn't make a big deal out of it. I think he made it look pretty normal. I mean, he was a weird kid, but I never would have guessed that he had Tourettes! I think I found out when he apologized for making weird movements and I was like, "Wait, what..? I haven't even noticed!" XD

Hm... Well, paranoia can be a really big problem for people with untreated anxiety. Some people just constantly live in fear. I know I do, I just try not to let that change my behavior.

But then there are also people who are just mean by nature. Something made them that way, time, betrayal, the warped joy of feeling powerful after making someone cry or spurning their love, etc. But contrary to popular belief and controlled fires, fire isn't fought with fire. Fire is fought with water, any true gamer knows that.

And that's why I think it's very important that we continue to spread the love and kindness, even though we may be met with cruelty in return. It's not a very good way to self-preserve, but I think that we can change the world with kindness. (And prayer, but I can't convince anyone of that, so I'll settle for kindness. (: )

I like what ★Raichuu★ was saying. Granted, I didn't read every post, only the first page of 15. Been out of forums a long time, guess my concentration isn't as good as it used to be. v_v Still, I don't think mean and evil people are born. I think there either isn't enough good in their lives or they push away from the good too much and become evil because evil is appealing. Stealing something is sooo much easier than buying it. And you get an adrenaline rush from it too! I think that's work of the devil and all, but, you know, no one believes that these days. :|

With good parents and no history of abuse or trauma? That'd be nice, but it isn't so these days. v_v I do wish I knew how to convert mean people to nice people though. Heck, trying to turn a mean person into a nice person is just about as difficult as trying to convert an athiest to Roman Catholicism. x_x
