吃鸡 = Chinese slang for PUBG (lit. "eat chicken", from the PUBG phrase "winner winner chicken dinner")

绝地求生 = PUBG's Chinese name

辅助 = cheats (lit. "supplementary aid"), if you see a post with this, they're most likely selling or advocating cheats

外挂 = also cheats, this phrase is more commonly seen

交易 = trade

卖 = sell / selling

好友 / 加好友 = friend / add friend, probably already recognizable to most mods

徽章 = badge

被封 = (I've been) banned

解封 / 求解封 = unban / ban appeal

开挂 = cheating

被盗 = (my ____ has been) stolen

账户 / 账号 / 帐户 / 帐号 = account

申请 = apply (for)

申诉 = appeal

官方 = official (usually used to refer to game devs or Valve, depending on context)

V社 = Valve

客服 = Steam Support

管理员 = admins, may be used to refer to moderators as well

版主 = moderators


I will add more commonly used keywords and phrases, along with their meanings, as I find them.

Not really a question, but I have observed more pinned topics being posted in Chinese to try to tackle the amount of Chinese spam and game ban topics.

Though, some of the translation is a bit muddled as Google is not perfect, and I could not fix the errors based on the already-translated posts.

If it is alright, you can post the original English text here and I will translate it into simplified Chinese as soon as I am able to.

I've changed my Steam interface to both simplified and traditional Chinese a few times when helping to translate the guide, so I know which terms Steam consistently uses on its interface. Which I believe will help the Chinese to understand the topics better.
