sAPI Beta advancement: June

Hello there !

Here is the June advancement of sAPI Beta:
The new engine is almost finished now, it should be completed within the week now :p
I'm writing the last lines of the engine right now, and a question now occure ...
wipe or not wipe the old datas ? ( °°)
wipe:
- Start with fresh new clean datas
- Lost all the alpha datas
not wipe:
- keep all the apha datas
- I must convert a lots of datas
I don't know yet :/

sAPPi:
I also started App for sAPI !
Because a new generation of apps starting to come over the new phones tablets etc ...
I found cool to make my own app for sAPI, for now it work on Chrome app (windows 7 and 8) and on Firefox Os (incomming mobile phone)

A little last word, with the new Steam profile, I also starting to think about 2 very cool new features. You will have more infos laters on this :p

sAPI Beta: Advancement

Hey hi everyone,
(as always, sorry for my English)
I know a lot of you wait for the sAPI Beta, me either :x
Here is a little update on the advancement of the beta and why it take so many time.

Some changes has been made from the original plan, I've dropped the first login system, including the sAPI Alpha system and the first login on sAPI Beta for a simpliest login format, the Steam login. Fast, easy, secure, usefull.

I am actually working on the second new feature for the sAPI user account, on this point I can't say now what it is, but you will LOOOOOVE it :p

Why sAPI Beta isn't yet here!?
Simply because sAPI Alpha was, well ..., an Alpha stage, I took the time to see how the server react to all this mess, to see what you want, what you like, all the report you have done, what you want to see, where are the bugs, all the ideas you sent to me.
From here I REWRITE all the code to make it better, faster, stronger!
I also change the design to make it cooler than ever and mobile friendly.

If I had to give a progress right now, I will say: 10%
Of course, that progress don't reflect the time necessary to finish it, because some script are heavier than other, and other will be fast to write.

Don't forget to send ideas to the contact page[sapi.techieanalyst.net], I will read all of them for sure, but I don't promise to answer :)

Well since few days already, the sAPI database is really starting to be big.
I have planned to manage a better way to handle the datas, but sAPI is already experiment a very heavy process :/

So I'm working right now to re-write all the database and the script related to the database.

While this time, I reboot the server once a day and repair the DB every 6h.

Last achievements / games bloc now have a "MORE" link to show last 420 achievement or 99 last games.

sAPI has been quickly updated for Torchlight II !!
It's not yet finished, it's for the fun, it's cool and usefull :p

Anyway, here is a quick FAQ to access to your stats:
- Go on your Steam profile on sAPI
- When your games number is done, click on the game list
- Finally, select ''Stats'' on Torchlight II
- Enjoy :p
