Broadcast not loading, what do
Trying to watch a friend's broadcast and it's just stuck on a black screen saying "Loading."

It's been doing this for ten minutes straight.

I have a good PC, I'm using Windows 10, and the Steam servers where I am are up and running just fine.

Videos stopped playing for me, what I did solved it, try this
Check in Steam Settings>interface>enable smooth scrolling etc requires restart on all three
Enable GPU accelerated rendering in web views is on
Enable hardware video decoding

same, it's been an issue for a while for me, the only broadcasts I can see are the ones in some store pages from the developer.

reinstalling steam solved it...

I've had the same issue off and on for years. Unfortunately I cannot be of much help, sometimes it just refuses to work. Restarting Steam? Works only sometimes. Restarting my computer entirely? Works only sometimes. Its genuinely frustrating, and my best guess is that it could be a problem on Valve's side on at least some of the time it doesn't work.

Join your own broadcast, then have a friend join it. It works everytime.

Sometimes even that doesn't work for me. Case in point: Two days ago. But the following day, it worked.

I mean, I didn't say that it doesn't work at all. It does work occasionally, just not always. If I were to guess it was an issue on Valve's end that day.
