I left my computer on earlier today while I went out to get something to eat, and came back to a fake Microsoft support page. It had forced Chrome into fullscreen, and repeatedly tried blasting me with fake "security" prompts. Having dealt with stuff like this before while helping out family members/coworkers with their computer issues, I simply exited fullscreen and closed the tab.

After that, just to be cautious, I scanned my computer multiple times with both Avast and Windows Defender - with neither one coming up with anything wrong. So, I took a look at my web history to see if I could gather any info from that. From doing that, I learned that I been redirected there from Outpost.

If anyone can provide an explanation as to why this happened, that'd be greatly appreciated. Given that I can no longer actually access the site, I'm gonna guess that this was the result of some sort of quickly-resolved security breach.

Just to note: while I didn't think to take a screenshot of the actual site, I do have the redirect path toward it in my browser history, and a pic of the message itself.
