How do you cancel a trade?
I put several items on the site and wanted to know how I got them back is that I'm new to the site

If you are talking about Outpost, Outpost does not take your items. If you are questioning how to cancel a trade in the top right corner you will see a little check button and you click on it and it will close your trade.

Items are not removed from your inventory when you put a trade up, they're still in your inventory.

I'm afraid you have been scammed. All you can do is report the group owner to Steam and hope he gets trade banned.

PS) TF2Outpost has no deposit function. If you traded with a bot, it isn't affiliated with the site.
