When it comes to buds the percentage of users who care about dupes is close to none. I've made trades with hundreds of buds and only 2 people actually cared to check the history on them. Unlilke unusuals or other high value items buds are considered a currency which means it doesn't make much difference if they're duped or not since people will accept them anyway.

Gifted buds on the other hand is a different story.

For most items traders don't care as much if it's duped. MIght be different for rarer items though.
However, it would need a really short history, otherwise it's impossible to 100% know if it's truly not duped or not

Ask yourself this question...Do people care about duped keys or refined metals? Nope, so why would anyone care about duped buds? The ones who does has no idea of trading and they are limiting themselves to a very small trading section. Simple...Dupes on promos or currency don't matter.

Why does anyone even care about duped items? You need to use special websites to see it... I understand caring about gifted items, you can see see it on trading websites or ingame but you can't see duped so what's the deal...?

Depends..... There mostly priced the same, But there becoming quite rare due to the fact *If you get scammed steam will not help anymore* Duped stuff by steam might be a little rare due to the persentage of duped comepared to non-duped buds.
