New Phishing Method Discovered
Hey everybody. I'd like to show a recent reddit post describing a new method of phishing that has formed.

This post basically describes the new method. People have found a way to mask .exe and other files as image files. They post a link onto your trade, saying it's a screenshot, when it's really a piece of malware that will attempt to steal your items/account details.
I'm posting this here to bring this to the admins' attention. I really hope they see this new method (if they haven't already) and put a warning on TF2Outpost about it.

I read over that, but it didn't cover the kind of issue that I mentioned above. While it is just a matter of not clicking suspicious links, I thought that this system may fool a lot more people, since it looks very legitamete, and I wanted to share it here.

Under the rules it states about not listing links unless its referring to another trade on this site, so if the user reads the rules they should know not to click on the link, plus if the know anything about virus, malware, etc. they should know. I mean if a user is new to outpost they may not know that is not smart to click on the links. Definitely thanks for letting others know, so they don't have any issues.
