I got scammed 30 Keys!!! Evil scam technique
So i assume that lot of people know about this technique but also lot of you doesnt know.
Let this be an example: you are A and your friend is B, the scammer is X and his friend is Y.
X says A he will pay real money via paypal or in some other way and tell A to give the items to B kinda like collateral.
B has the item, so X invites B and Y to the chat room. but Y changes his name, picture to A,
and says the trade is off and give the item back to me.
B returns the item to fake A(Y)
A blames B and X and Y live to scam another day. (I quoted another guy saying this)

And so i was aware of this technique. And surprisingly a guy appeared and wanted to make a deal pretty similar to this not with the paypal but with keys from market, so he had to buy keys and we had a deal that i give my stuff to my trusted friend. And so we did.
And when i wanted to make the actual deal, my friend told me that he had already gave my items back to me. But that was actually the friend of scammer he gave items to.
So it turned out my friend didn't know about this technique...

I have made bunch of screenshots of that chat room and stuff and how my friend accepts to witness all that deal and be middleman. I have their both steam profile links so:
[removed]

Theese arent their main accounts in my opinion but still, could it change something?
Just this damn technique destroys friendships and scamms at the same time.

Is there any way to get items back? I can post those screenshots too.
And obviously i have reported them, but that don't do much, i guees. Because everyone can just abuse that report option.

Please respond if there is a way to fix this mistake!

"X says A he will pay real money via paypal or in some other way and tell A to give the items to B kinda like collateral."
One of the oldest way to scam people.

Try making a ticket to steam support, however I dont htink theyll help you out, also make sure to create a steamrep report so the scammers get marked as such.

We do not accept these types of reports on the forums, please submit both a report on the person through the site and also through SteamRep so that we may review it in a standardized fashion. We will also require all the evidence that you have on the matter, because we cannot ban others based on the words of one person alone.

I've removed the parts where you list people's information, we do not allow calling out people on the forums. Like I've mentioned, we require evidence before we make our judgements and cannot allow someone's word to just be taken at face value.

As for the return of your items, the only way to do that would be to send in a Steam support ticket and wait on their judgement.
