Help! Unable to appeal permanent ban for something that I didn't do, appeal closed after miscommunication, unable to communicate with tf2op or file new ticket.
I have recently unable to come in contact with tf2 op staff regarding the fact that I was banned for "being an alt", which is clearly untrue!

A few days ago I logged onto outpost saying I was perma banned because I was an alternate account of another outpost user, his profile page I was unable to view due to my ban. I filed an appeal stating I was confused about what was happening and I didn't have any alts. However, the admin replied saying I was "clearly" a alt of another user, which he sent the steam profile link of: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/id/JoeyCahill/. This user lives in Australia. I live in China! I was greatly confused. The admin might have thought I was an alt due to the fact that I am f2p and my items are gifted from my friends. I pondered a bit and realized that I have accesed Outpost using my VPN service. I believe that is why my account may be flagged as an alt of another. Different VPN accounts and users go through the same VPN server. The admin closed my appeal and I was unable to communicate further to explain. The admin's name is toughsox and I hope through this I can communicate with some admins and fellow outpost users.

Also I'd like to note the fact that the website's rules does not state a VPN is not allowed.

Please do not spam, you have already created a topic regarding this issue.

You are right, there are no rules that state VPNs are not allowed. And when you use them and log in from identical locations as scammers/banned users do, then we have no way to tell if you are someone unique or, the same scammer/banned user using the same VPN.
