asking question for friend, concerning his outpost ban
in no way am I trying to appeal a ban. just something to ask for my friend

he is banned on outpost. he told me that he was brokering for a scammer, and he didnt realize that it was against outpost rules until after the ban(he doesnt really have common sense) Outpost would not unban because he didnt know I suppose? or must he ask this in his appeal for unban case or add one of the outpost admins to discuss it?

Your friend needs to file an appeal with the reasons that he thinks he should be unbanned, the staff cant unban someone just because their friend said he didn't know.

of course, it would have to be the words of the banned user and not the friend. i know this. thanks, would contacting an outpost admin to discuss it help the cause along with talking of it in the appeal?

Sorry for the very long reply, steam didn't notify me. Your friend needs to make his appeal and wait for it to be answered. Nothing else he can do will speed up the process as the staff have to go through a large amount of appeals.
