Report a translation problem
I know there is a way to item test in game. I believe it only supports one hat, and one misc for now. The creator of the following video has told me unusuals work in item test now as well.
Here's a link to a video made to show you how to use item test.
Other methods of knowing how an item looks like, and how they are painted, would be to view them on the wiki or use SFM
Weapons are broken during Itemtest.
It's a bit slow but it works good. Click on the class, click "add items" search the item, set paint (if applicable) and tada.
