Question
If you look in my inventory. I have a few items with are random levels. for example level 72

Are they worth anything?

I got told years ago they were. But things have changed since then.

The level on an item will rarely effect the price of something. It's purely based on whether the buyer is collecting a certain level.
The most common levels collected (from what I've seen) is 1, 42, 69 and 100. Though keep in mind if the item is unique, the level usually won't affect the price.
