I don't think so, if you're worried about your avatar getting you in trouble why not just change it?

It's not this avatar that I am worried about, I use whatever avatar I feel like on steam but dont ever remember that I have an outpost account and that recently lead to a problem. It would be easier for both sides if disabling your avatar was available
