Question about Craft Number for Refined
I recently started to use Trade.TF (this question is not about Trade.TF, calm your jimmies), which has an option to automatically create a trade on TF2Outpost and automatically accept trades for me.
However, when trying it out, I noticed instead of putting 5 refined for what I wanted in exchange for a cosmetic, it put 1 refined with a craft number of #5.

Is this a legitimate shortcut people use and recognize as meaning 5 refined or does this count as baiting?

It's quite common, most traders are able to identify the universal trading code.
